Athrun decided to go back to Plant. Meanwhile Chairman Gilbert was holding a meeting with the officials of Plant about the up-coming war between Plant and Earth. The Blue Cosmos were also planning something to destroy Plant. Nuclear missiles were launched towards Plant, aiming to destroy the whole area. Yzak's team was also launched to help destroyed the missiles, but there was too much a number for them to destroy. In the end Plant fired its huge laser beam and the whole missile army was eliminated. The Blue Cosmos and all the people who saw this tragedy were shocked.
